This article outlines the standard processing timeframe for Service Requests submitted to Crisis JK Solutions and sets expectations for clients regarding review and response times.
Once a Help Desk ticket has been reviewed and converted into a Service Request, it enters the case management queue for processing.
The standard processing time for Service Requests is 24 to 72 business hours from the time the request is received and all required information has been provided.
Processing times may vary depending on service demand, document completeness, and the complexity of the request.
Processing Window: 24–72 Business Hours
During this time, Crisis JK Solutions staff may:
Review the Service Request.
Verify submitted information.
Review supporting documentation.
Request additional information if needed.
Determine the next steps for the client's case.
Assign the request to the appropriate department or case manager.
Processing may take longer if:
Required documents are missing.
Submitted information is incomplete or inaccurate.
Additional verification is required.
The client does not respond to requests for information.
There is a high volume of incoming Service Requests.
The processing timeframe begins once all required information has been received.
To help avoid delays, clients should:
Submit all requested documentation promptly.
Ensure all information is accurate and complete.
Monitor their email and Client Portal for updates.
Respond promptly to any requests for additional information.
Q: How long does it take to process a Service Request?
A: Most Service Requests are processed within 24 to 72 business hours after all required information has been received.
Q: Does processing mean my request has been approved?
A: No. Processing refers to the review and evaluation of your request. Approval depends on eligibility, documentation, and program requirements.
Q: What if I haven't received an update after 72 business hours?
A: If more than 72 business hours have passed and you have not received an update, you may reply to your existing Help Desk ticket or contact Crisis JK Solutions for a status update. Please do not submit duplicate requests, as this may delay processing.
Inform clients that the standard processing time is 24 to 72 business hours.
Confirm whether all required documents have been submitted before discussing processing times.
Advise clients that incomplete submissions may extend the review period.
Do not guarantee approval, funding, or completion within the stated timeframe.
If a request has exceeded 72 business hours, encourage the client to follow up using their existing Help Desk ticket rather than creating a new one.
Service Requests should be reviewed within the established 24–72 business hour service level objective (SLO).
Staff should document all client communications and status updates within the case record.
If additional documentation is required, notify the client as soon as possible to minimize delays.
Managers should monitor requests approaching or exceeding the 72-hour processing window to ensure timely follow-up.
