This article explains the difference between submitting a Help Desk ticket and having access to the Crisis JK Solutions Client Portal.
Submitting a Help Desk ticket allows clients to contact Crisis JK Solutions for assistance, ask questions, or report an issue. However, submitting a ticket does not automatically create or activate a Client Portal account.
The Help Desk and the Client Portal are separate systems that serve different purposes.
The Help Desk is used to:
Ask questions
Report issues
Request assistance
Receive support from our team
Follow up on existing concerns
Anyone may submit a Help Desk request without having a Client Portal account.
The Client Portal is available only to clients who have been approved for portal access or enrolled in an eligible service.
Portal features may include:
Viewing application status
Uploading required documents
Receiving secure messages
Tracking service progress
Making payments
Accessing service-specific resources
Access is granted only after eligibility and enrollment requirements have been met.
A Client Portal account may be created after one or more of the following occurs:
An application has been reviewed and accepted.
The client enrolls in a qualifying service.
Portal access is required for ongoing case management.
Crisis JK Solutions staff manually create or activate the account.
Not every service requires a Client Portal account.
If you submitted a Help Desk ticket and are unable to access the Client Portal:
Confirm whether you have received a portal invitation email.
Check your spam or junk folder.
Verify that you are using the same email address provided during your application.
If you have not received portal credentials, reply to your Help Desk ticket for further assistance.
Do not submit multiple tickets for the same issue, as this may delay response times.
Q: I submitted a Help Desk ticket. Why can't I log into the Client Portal?
A: Submitting a Help Desk ticket does not create a Client Portal account. Portal access is granted only when required for eligible services.
Q: Does every client receive a portal account?
A: No. Portal access is provided only when necessary based on the services requested and your eligibility.
Q: Can I request a portal account?
A: Yes. If your service requires portal access, our team will review your request and provide instructions if you qualify.
Clearly explain that Help Desk tickets and Client Portal accounts are separate systems.
Do not imply that a ticket submission automatically creates portal access.
If the client expects portal access, verify whether they have been enrolled in a qualifying service before directing them to log in.
If eligibility cannot be confirmed, advise the client that a team member will review their request.
Never promise immediate portal creation or activation.
Support staff should verify the client's enrollment status before issuing portal credentials. If a client has only submitted a Help Desk ticket and has not enrolled in a service requiring portal access, no portal account should be created unless approved under company policy.
